20 years ago, I was a high schooler in a competitive mathematics and science program in China. But I always found myself sketching on textbooks. I made countless drawings of Sailor Moon characters. I didn’t know I would become a designer one day.

14 years ago, I moved to the States to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design. I enjoyed creative thinking and focus of detail in the design process. However, I didn’t know I would switch over to User Experience Design later.

9 years ago, as an agency designer who were crafting delightful mobile experience and user journeys for a variety of IoT projects, I didn’t know my passion would go into data one day.

Now I'm a UX designer with mixed work experience in enterprise, data analytics, IoT and industrial design.

I enjoy problem solving for data, especially the process of digging through depth and breadth of complexity. However, complex problems don't necessarily result in complex solutions. Instead, I'm a seeker of simplicity by pursuing elegant solutions for technical problems.

I'm good at ideation, prototypes, IA, research, storytelling, and being a team player.
